Le Mans Ultimate results on the stream, from one browser source
A small pill sits in one corner of the stream with the current Le Mans Ultimate driver and safety rank. It opens into the full result when a race finishes, then returns to the pill.
The frame below runs the real overlay against a sample race, on a loop. Everything outside the widget is transparent on stream.
Sample data: P4 of 12 in GT3 at Spa-Francorchamps, up from P6, with a promotion from Silver 1 to Silver 2.
The overlay holds the pill size between races. It opens for about ten seconds after a race, then closes again.
The pill carries the GridCard mark, the card address, and the Le Mans Ultimate driver and safety rank in their tier colours. It measures about 372 × 62 pixels and sits in the chosen corner.
A finished race opens the card within about 25 seconds. It shows the finish position and class size, positions gained, track, car, laps, best lap and incidents, then the driver and safety rating change with the progress to the next tier. A promotion appears in the tier colour. A countdown line runs, then the card closes.
OBS composites the overlay into the video before it leaves the machine, so Twitch, YouTube and every other destination treat it as part of the picture. That removes any need for a platform extension, a sign-in or a review.
The overlay reads the same figures the public driver card already shows. Each link is separate from the others, and a request switches it off at any time.
In OBS, open the scene, then Sources → + → Browser.
Set the URL to the issued gridcard.site/overlay/<token> address, the width to 600 and the height to 560. The browser source is already transparent, so leave that setting alone.
The gear inside the source opens a corner picker: top left, top right, bottom left or bottom right. The choice is stored in the browser source and survives a restart. Dragging the source in OBS places it anywhere on the canvas.
Overlay links are issued one at a time, by hand. A short mail gets a unique link back for an OBS browser source.
The link costs nothing and stays valid until a request withdraws it. The Windows companion has to be paired with the GridCard app, because that is what records each Le Mans Ultimate result.
